Office Assistant in Praha 5-Barrandov (30, 35 or 40 hours/week)

About the position and our company
Talk is an expanding group of market research and software development companies operating across Austria, Germany, and Central Europe. We are currently seeking an Office Assistant to support the local team in our Prague office, while also working cross-border within our international Backoffice team to ensure smooth administrative operations group-wide.  
This hybrid position would be a good fit for a proactive, solution-oriented and reliable multi-tasker who wants to combine practical and theoretical tasks in a collaborative and flexible environment.
Responsibilities
  • Local logistics (25% of workload)
    Managing regular practical tasks such as handling correspondence and filing, ensuring office facilities and meeting rooms are up to standard, ordering supplies and materials or coordinating events – all with the goal of having smooth day-to-day operations and happy colleagues in the Prague office. 
  • Bookkeeping and administrative (75% of workload)
    Being part of an international bookkeeping-administrative team working from Germany, Italy and Austria.  In this aspect of the role, you’d be assisting with data entry of financial transactions into accounting software, preparing and organizing invoices, receipts, and other documents, support accounts payable and receivable processes, and assisting with data collection, data entry and maintaining databases. You would be a point of contact for both external clients and internal partners in the HR and bookkeeping departments, as well as our partner accounting firms, so you must be a confident and friendly communicator.
Requirements
  • Resident in Prague and available for minimum 30 hours per week (35 hours or full-time would be preferred).
  • Native Czech speaker with proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
  • Organizationally skilled, attentive to detail, able to multitask.
  • Familiar with office software (e.g., MS Office) and basic administrative procedures, skilled in managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a structured workflow.
  • Friendly and professional, with clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues, vendors, and clients
  • A team player, who can work collaboratively in an office setting while staying self-motivated during remote workdays.
  • Mature, ethical and trustworthy, as the post expects a high level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
